Several luxury brands are confirmed to be opening Australian outlet stores this August, taking up residence in Sydney’s biggest discount shopping centre.

Following multi-million dollar renovations at its Drummoyne location, international heavyweights Bally, Coach and Michael Kors are coming to Birkenhead Point mall this year, when the centre reopens in August.

Other forthcoming retailers include Peter’s Of Kensington and streetwear brand Zanerobe, joining Australian luxury multibrand retailer Harrolds, who will bow its first outlet store with the Birkenhead relaunch.

The latest premium outlets will occupy the western end of the newly renovated Level 2 shopping gallery, said Mirvac, the mall owner.

Mirvac senior development manager Christina Nelson said the new-and-improved centre looks to target a plethora of customers, both local and international.

“With its unrivalled location on Sydney Harbour and just minutes from the CBD, the centre appeals to not only Sydneysiders and domestic visitors, but also to international tourists.”

Inside the centre will also be Australian brand Oroton and other international names such as Armani, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret.
