Britain’s Whistles comes to Hong Kong

Britain’s Whistles has opened two new stores in Hong Kong, marking the contemporary fashion brands retail debut in the city.

In partnership with Rue Madame Fashion Group, Whistles opened its first store in Hong Kong’s Harbour City on January 11, ahead of its flagship debut in Hong Kong’s Pacific Place in March 2017.

The new store in Harbour City Hong Kong marks the newest opening in the brand’s international retail expansion, after having bowed new sites in the US, UAE and Europe in 2016.

The second Hong Kong site in Pacific Place, set to open in March, will take inspiration from the Whistles UK flagship stores, and will house both menswear and womenswear, said the London-helmed label.

“Seeking to inspire the customer, the collections encapsulate an intelligent, modern sense of design with luxurious pieces that are easy to wear,” said Whistles in a press release.

Founded in 1976, with a relaunch in 2008, Whistles is known for its contemporary and effortless style.

As of December 2016, Whistles operated 46 standalone stores, 80 concessions ands six online channels including Selfridges and Harrods in the UK and Bloomingdales, Brown Thomas and El Corte Ingles internationally.

Launched in 2010 by Ariane Zagury, Rue Madame Fashion Group (RMFG) is an established Asian partner for international fashion brands focused on bringing affordable luxury to the region.
