Donuts are making a comeback in Hong Kong with the opening of J.CO Donuts & Coffee in Wanchai this December.

The lifestyle cafe retailer, which started in Indonesia and has already expanded into Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore, is owned and managed by Johnny Andrean Group with over 250 international outlets.

Hong Kongers can expect long lines for J.CO’s premium quality donuts paired with Italian coffee, especially on weekends from 17 December onwards, when J.CO will be giving away 100 free donuts on a first-come, first-served basis at 3PM.

Choose from quirkily named donuts such as the almond-crusted white chocolate Al Capone, chocolatey Avocado DiCaprio, nutty Jackie Chunk and strawberry and cream cheese-filled Berry Spears.

On the coffee side, there’s the trusty Americano, Hot Tiramisu and Cappuccino Chip Frappe. For those having trouble deciding, J.CO even offers professional pairing advice.

Donuts start at HK$15 per piece and HK$88 for a half dozen (mini donuts are priced at 24 for HK$98).
