Asian Seafood Exposition returning this autumn to Wanchai, HK

The third edition of the Asian Seafood Exposition will take place 11-13 September 2012 in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exposition will once again connect retail, foodservice, and distribution buyers with suppliers of live, fresh, frozen and packaged seafood products and services looking to access the prosperous Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong seafood market.

Last year’s exposition attracted more than 150 exhibiting companies from 23 countries, and over 4,500 buyers from 50 countries. Additional growth is expected at this year’s event with many exhibiting companies returning for the third installment.

"We are very pleased with the exhibit growth the event is experiencing this year," said Mary Larkin, Vice President of Seafood Expositions at Diversified Business Communications, the company that produces the Asian Seafood Exposition. "The international presence for the 2012 event has grown and includes new country representation from Scotland, Ecuador, and France," Larkin said.

Returning this year to the exposition is the Key Buyer programme, an exclusive programme that specifically targets top-level buyers with volume seafood purchasing responsibility in multi-unit retail, hospitality, government and foodservice establishments.

The Asian Seafood Exposition will be held in conjunction with Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong, the region’s first and leading fine dining and bar show for more than 10 successful years, and a newly launched co-located event, Frozen Food Asia, the only dedicated frozen-food event in Asia. Registration for attendees is available.
