India’s Bata Q4 net increases 3.6pc to USD8.5m

Footwear retailer Bata India on Wednesday reported 3.61 percent increase in net profit at INR52.75 crore (INR527.5 million, USD8.5m) for the fourth quarter ended on 31 December.

The company, which follows a January-December fiscal, had reported net profit of INR50.91 crore in the October-December quarter of last year, Bata India said in a BSE filing.

Bata India net sales increased to INR554.06 crore for the quarter under review as against INR508.58 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
