Footwear brand Clarks has announced the appointment of a new Asia-Pacific regional president, as well as a new managing director for Europe and the addition of three new board members.

Clarks has hired Jack Quinlan to lead its Asia-Pacific operations as new regional president. The British retailer indeed poached Quinlan, who was previously serving as Fossil’s Asia-Pacific senior vice president.

Quinlan, who has been with Fossil Group since 2011 and previously with Nike for almost 10 years, will begin with Clarks in August.

Ben Fletcher has also been named the new managing director for the European region, complementing Clarks’ newest board members, also announced this week.

Tanya Cordrey and Tobias Zimmerer have joined the board of directors as independent non-executive directors, alongside the incoming chief financial director Paul Kenyon, crowned executive director for 9 August.

“I am delighted to welcome Tanya and Tobias as non-executive directors and Paul as an executive director,” said Clarks chairman Tom O’Neill.

“Between them they will bring a wealth of experience and professional expertise to the Board and support the business as it goes through an exciting period of transformation while building an agile, innovation-led global brand, fit to successfully pursue formidable opportunities ahead for Clarks.”

With these appointments, the Clarks board of directors is comprised of 10 members.
