Tesco clothing chief Terry Green is to be replaced by the grocer’s head of non-food Richard Jones.
According to the Financial Times, Green will continue to work on projects with Tesco. Jones will take up the running of the clothing business in the UK as well as looking after the retailer’s home and general merchandise offer. Jones was previously head of non-food at rival Sainsbury’s and joined Tesco to oversee non-food in 2008. It is understood Green’s five-year contract with Tesco was coming to an end.
