Huawei hires ex Bush official to get into US market, says China Daily

China’s telecom equipment maker Huawei is reported to have hired an ex-official from the George W Bush administration as adviser in a bid to make inroads into the US market.

John Bellinger worked as chief attorney at the State Department and advised the National Security Council under Bush, China Daily reported.

Huawei’s move is proof that the company is going to great lengths to gain a share in the US telecom market. This also proves to the US national security authorities that it has no "military ties" and should be given permission to make this US acquisition.
