High Ridge Brands appoints CFO on executive restructure

US personal care company High Bridge Brands announced the appointment of Amanda Allen to the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

The Stamford, Connecticut-based firm said in a press release that Allen would work closely with the company’s senior management team “to provide financial and administrative leadership to support High Ridge Brands’ go-forward strategy.”

The finance veteran started her career in CPG & Retail investment banking at UBS, before moving into corporate finance and strategic planning leadership roles at Waterworks, PepsiCo and Starwood Hotels.

Most recently, she led finance and accounting as the CFO of Edible Arrangements. She holds a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A from New York University.

High Bridge made the CFO announcement on the decision to move current Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Richard Kirk, into the exclusive role of Chief Operating Officer. The firm said that “the move will allow Mr. Kirk to focus on the operations of the company, the scope of which were expanded significantly as a result of the company’s recent acquisition of Dr. Fresh, a leading provider of oral care products.”

Dr. Fresh joins High Ridge Brands’ current company portfolio made up of skin cleansing, hair care and oral care brands including Zest, Alberto VO5, Reach and Firefly.

In addition, the company has relationships with leading entertainment properties through which it has a portfolio of licenses such as Star Wars, Batman, Spiderman, Hello Kitty, and Transformers.
