Celtro opens new office in Hong Kong

Celtro, a pioneer and leading global supplier of mobile backhaul switching solutions, announced the opening of two new Celtro offices – in Argentina and Hong Kong. The new offices will handle Celtro’s significant installed base in Latin America, and spearhead the company’s strategic push into Asia-Pacific.

"Celtro has made considerable inroads into Latin America, which until now, was supported by our subsidiary in Mexico. The new office in Argentina will expand our coverage of this region and will better serve our growing customer base in the southern part of Latin America," noted Ron Zor, CEO of Celtro. "Furthermore, as we continue to grow, APAC, with its growing subscriber base and the planned rollout of new 3G networks, has become a strategic target for Celtro. Celtro’s Hong Kong office, together with our subsidiary in India, will bring us closer to our APAC customers. It will also enable us to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the region as well as to provide local technical support," he continued.

Keith Leung, formerly Regional Sales Director Asia at Starhome, will head the Hong Kong office and will cover Southeast Asia.

"Celtro strongly believes in a global strategy that is implemented at the local level. Nothing can replace experienced players on the ground in local markets. We are confident that our highly motivated team will help us strengthen our position in these key regions," concluded Zor.

Experts in the mobile backhaul, Celtro provides innovative switching solutions that empower mobile operators worldwide to improve service delivery, increase network efficiency, and facilitate flexible backhaul network evolution.
