The tie-up has made way for a new ‘go forward’ management team, designed to guide the company across the globe, according to group CEO, Dave Tanner.

“Our new leadership team is a combination of seasoned global talent from Boardriders, Billabong and from outside the organization,” said the newly promoted Tanner, who took on the top spot following the death of former chief executive at Boardriders, Pierre Agnès, last month.

“This team will lead the integration of two great companies, creating the world’s leading action sports company.”

Of the new appointments, Greg Healy has been named President of APAC, and added to the Board of Directors, assisted in board duties by Shannan North, named President of Billabong and Retail Strategy.

On a group level, Joe Scirocco has been named Chief Financial Officer; Jean Louis Rodrigues is the new General Manager Wholesale EMEA, with Nate Smith appointed President of the Americas and Dan Levine named Chief Brand Officer.

Ilene Eskenazi is the new Chief Human Resources Officer and Julie Ott, the new Chief Operating Officer. Joining them is Mike Yerkes, Chief Logistics Officer; Nico Foulet, Chief Information Officer; and Sonia Lapinsky, Chief Integration Officer, sais the firm.

Thomas Chambolle, who took on the role of President EMEA for the group earlier in the year, remains in this position. The group’s brand heads also remain unchanged with David Brooks continuing to lead skateboarding brand Element as CEO. Garry Wall remains in charge of Quiksilver, and Emilie Souvras continues to head women’s surf brand Roxy. Moreover, Mike Jensen remains in charge of DC Shoes and Kevin Meehan, who joined the group in 2017 from Volcom, will also keep his top spot at RVCA.

With the appointments come the management dismissals too.
