Audemars Piguet appoints Southeast Asia CEO

Luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet has appointed Jonathan King as the brand’s South East Asian CEO. The role will see King lead operations in South East Asia, India and Australia.

Joining in Audemars Piguet in 2012, King previously served as the Japan CEO in Tokyo where he was pivotal in distinguishing the high-end horologist in the region. It is anticipated that he will do the same for Audemars Piguet’s South East Asian operations. He will be based in Singapore.

Before Audemars Piguet, King worked in luxury watches and jewellery in Singapore covering a span of 20 years.

“I’m thrilled to be back in Singapore, one of Audemars Piguet’s leading markets, heading an excellent team of committed professionals,” said King.

Founded in 1875, Audemars Piguet is the oldest watch brand in the world that remained family-owned — Audemars and Piguet. The brand is known for its luxury watches and also makes sports models and watches for women.
