Daniel Wellington opens KL first permanent retail

Daniel Wellington is making its first brick-and-mortar play worldwide in KL together with his local partner Bluebell group.

The Swedish watch brand phenomena opened  this Friday an approximately 200 sqf. space featuring is new retail design concept and mixing luxurious codes borrowed from luxury brands and lifestyle elements including marble flooring and walls, Flos lighting, and a new type of wood cabinets and displays.

The shop is located in Pavilion shopping mall on Level 4 and close to a mix of lifestyle and fashion tenants including Fossil, Levi’s, Topshop, Adidas Original, CK Jeans. The store features watches from the men’s and women’s collections along  with the new Dapper collection.

Daniel Wellington watches, which all feature interchangeable wristbands, retail from $199 to $299. The brand is expected to make over 280$ million in revenue this year, and has grown within only few years through social media — Daniel Wellington has 2.1 million followers on Instagram — and word-of-mouth from a loyal community of fans.

The watches are today currently distributed in over 80 countries. In the U.S. the line is stocked at retailers including Bloomingdale’s, American Rag Cie and Fred Segal.
