French luxury label Isabel Marant has opened a brand new store in Hong Kong in October. Located in Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, the Parisian womenswear designer now has three standalone stores in Hong Kong, adding to the brand’s recently opened Central and Causeway Bay retail hubs.

The new store is designed in symbiosis with the other Hong Kong fittings: a style that is minimal and chic and “prioritises space and light,” said the label, in a blog post.

The store features polished concrete floors and blocks, accentuated by green plants and black metallic door trimmings, parred back so not to overpower the clothing designs.

Marking the opening, an official party took place the store. A host of local VIPs were attendance including actress Kathy Yuen, fashionista Veronica Lam and stylist Ricky Kwok.

Isabel Marant first entered Hong Kong in 2015 through a distribution agreement with Hong Kong-based firm ImagineX Group, reached in 2005.

ImagineX, part of Lane Crawford Joyce Group, is one of the largest luxury brand operators in Asia. Founded in 1992, ImagineX oversees 21 international luxury and contemporary fashion, beauty and lifestyle businesses in the region.

Founded in 1990, Parisian Isabel Marant started out designing jewellery and knitwear, before establishing her eponymous ready-to-wear collection in 1994.

Isabel Marant today boasts 22 namesake stores with collections available for purchase at more than 800 luxury multi-brand retailers worldwide.

The new Isabel Marant store is located at Level 2, Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
