A British high-fashion retailer selling hair accessories and scarves has agreed to pay HKD620 (USD79.77) per square foot to lease space at IFC Mall, a record for shopping centres in Central.

The retailer, which has not been named, will pay a monthly rental of HKD310,000 (USD39,880) for the 500 sq ft shop, the company’s first in Hong Kong. It sells an array of products, including a hair clip that retails in Britain for GBP5 (USD8.10).
