First travel retail boutique for Heinemann recently opened in Shanghai

inProjects recently delivered the first boutique duty free store in Shanghai, a partnership project between Gebr. Heinemann and the China National Service Corporation (CNSC). Further projects with Heinemann include Bulgari and Versace boutiques at Beijing Capital Airport and Hong Kong International Airport respectively. When the modern Hanseatic trading house, Gebr. Heinemann embarked on an expansion into Asia they required a partner who understood both the local market and the exceptional standards necessary to reflect the international travel market. With offices in both Beijing and Shanghai, as well as other major business centres in Asia, inProjects was perfectly placed to provide specialist Project Management for Gebr. Heinemann and as such were appointed to undertake a number of store developments. inProjects recently delivered their first high-end boutique store located on Jiangning Road, Shanghai a partnership project between Gebr. Heinemann and the China National Service Corporation (CNSC) a state owned enterprise. The impressive 2,690 sq ft store was fitted out by a specialist retail contractor and houses a variety of renowned travel retail brands. Further expansion of their travel retail network includes single branded stores under license for internationally renowned exclusive fashion house Versace at Hong Kong International Airport and Italian jeweler Bulgari at Beijing Capital Airport with both developments managed by inProjects and completed in Q1 2009. inProjects’ vast experience in retail interior fit-out as well as our extensive knowledge of the China market ensured Gebr. Heinemann’s entry into the Asian market was free from major hurdles and executed effectively.
