CHINASHOP, the gateway to China’s retail industry

The 19th China Retail Trade Fair (CHINASHOP 2017), the Chinese retail industry’s key annual event and the largest professional retail exhibition in Asia, will take place from 2 to 4 November 2017 at the Chongqing International Expo Center.
The 90,000-square-meter event will host nearly 800 exhibitors and expects more than 50,000 professional visitors from all over the world.
CHINASHOP brings together China’s top retailers and will be the place to observe the latest development trends across the sector. Nearly 100,000 products covering the gamut from retail equipment to in-store technologies, cold chain logistics and commercial design, along with a wide array of featured products and services, will be on display at the three-day event.
Many of the latest products, including payment systems, self-service POS terminals and optical communications technologies, will make their world debut, prior to being formally launched in China and abroad.
For the operators of supermarkets, convenience stores, shopping malls and franchised stores, among other retailers, competitive differentiation, enhancement in operations and core competitiveness will be where the developments across the sector are expected to take place for the years to come.
The technologies, devices, products and services showcased at the exhibition will provide more choices for chain stores in the procurement of their needs and ultimately help them win consumers.
CHINASHOP not only puts a wide variety of product displays in front of fair participants, but also shares industry perspectives. Taking into account the hot spots across the sector this year, a series of forums and conferences are specially planned, including a professional salon for retail layout, design and construction and a professional forum covering supply chains and energy efficiency in stores.
